NARMADA PARK

Narmada Park is one of King Anak Agung Karang Asem in heritance which was built in 1839 ( the end of 17^th century). This park as summer palace of king at that time, located 10 km away on eastern from Cakranegara city which formerly as central government of the kingdom.

This park has water resources which according to the local people believe that has restorative power to keep people young forever by drinking and washing the water to our face look younger than our age.

From Balai Terang (the wooden horse on stilts) we can see the whole park area and glorious temple.

Fatmawati pool can be seen from there .Formerly the lady helper for queen swim together.

Inside of this park there is replica of Segara Anak Lake which the ritual place for king because he got old so he cold not go to the Segara Anak Lake in Mount Rinjani to carry out Mulang Pekelem ritual.

During the Mulang Pekelem ritual the king disposed some fishes made from gold and other metal to express gratitude to the God for abundant harvest.

In this area some local handicraft are sold so you can buy as souvenir for your memorable after visiting this beauty of park.
